ELIZABETH REASER: I went to school here at Juilliard at Lincoln Center, and then I lived here until I was absolutely forced to go to Los Angeles. [Laughs.] But I actually kind of love it there now. I have a different personality there.

I saw Young Adult, but haven’t yet seen the new installment of Twilight—

That is, like, the only time I’ll ever hear that in my life!

Which raises the question, what’s Robert Pattinson like?

[Laughter.] Oh my god, stop!

Tell me about Young Adult. Since you’re playing a human being in this one, as opposed to a vampire, people might assume you’re more like Beth than Esme Cullen.

Except for that fact that she’s human and that she’s from the Midwest, we’re nothing alike. I have a face that people assume belongs to a nice person, and so I often get cast as the warm, maternal character—when I’m playing humans. It was actually really challenging to play Beth, because I’m so far away from her—a wife and mother who lives in the town where she grew up. I know that world, and part of me really loves it, but I couldn’t be further from it in my real life.

NextMovie is running a list of what they felt were the biggest movie related stories of 2011. Bella and Edward’s wedding night antics makes their list coming in at number five. Says NextMovie: All that pent up lust… is released in a violent explosion of passion that results in shredded pillows, a broken headboard and the conception of a mommy-eating monster vampire baby. All the debates over Team Edward vs. Team Jacob have been resolved, and by all accounts, the ultimate winners in the Bella sweepstakes are the fans themselves. It’s about time.

The Twilight Saga wasn’t the only fandom getting attention on their list. The Hobbit is listed at number fifteen while Dark Night came in at number nine. Number two went to the casting frenzy surrounding the Hunger Games and number one went to Harry Potter for reaching the end of their movie franchise.

Dakota Fanning continues to work on her latest movie, Effie, on Friday (December 2) in Venice, Italy.

The 17-year-old actress, wearing a Victorian dress and headpiece, rode a gondola through the canals with co-stars Claudia Cardinale and Riccardo Scamarcio for the period piece.

“Wearing a corset every day has been interesting,” Dakota told the Associated Press with a laugh.

“It really does make you feel like you are someone else in a different time,” she added. “It takes a while to get dressed in the morning and to take everything off … You have to have someone helping you and putting you into these clothes. It just shows how different everything was [back then].”

The latest, Breaking Dawn, has ranked No. 1 at the U.S. box office for the past three weekends and has already earned $588 million worldwide. The entire franchise has brought in $2.4 billion so far and there’s still one more movie set for release next year.

It’s been a lot of reward for relatively little outlay. The first two movies were produced for $37 million and $50 million, respectively. The current film is the most expensive to date with an estimated budget of $110 million. Part of the reason the budget has risen is that stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are getting paid more for playing Bella and her vampire boyfriend Edward, but they’re still not getting the $20 million paychecks that some big stars can command."

Have we all moved on from the Robert Pattinson and Sarah Roemer outing? After getting papped at dinner– with a large group of business acquaintances, mind you– the sighting caused quite a stir. Well, Celebuzz is assured that Rob and real-life girlfriend Kristen Stewart are good as ever, so lets move on to drama free news.

Rob gave a great interview to Capricho magazine where he raved about Stewart. He was asked if he agreed with Taylor Lautner’s statement that Kristen was sexy as a vampire:

“Of course, a sexy goddess. She looked amazing. It was funny because Bella is that girl that is always tripping on things, and then, she turns into this elegant woman, like a vampire queen.”

Oh, and about that sexy sex scene, Rob says there was something he was concerned with:
“I was worried about protecting [Kristen] because, you know, in that situation, everything is more complicated. But in the end, she was more comfortable with her body than I was with mine!”
“I was trying to keep the sheets covering us during the breaks between scenes. But it was more because of me than Kristen [laughs],” Rob told the magazine. “Have to be judge by how I look like is terrifying. — I avoided that the whole saga.”
When asked to describe Stewart:
“She’s great. Ok, that was awful [laughs]. She’s ambitious.I like that obsessive determination she has to be herself. She’s amazing. She takes the things she says too seriously, kind of like the opposite of me.”

Robert Pattinson and actress Sarah Roemer – along with a couple of producers – hung out together in Los Angeles this weekend.
They spent time at La Poubelle and Soho House, taking a car (with the others) between the two spots.
Paparazzi snapped photos (below) of the two stars sitting next to each other.
That is what happened.
But the gossip mill has turned their night out (with other people) into a frenzy of speculation and wild rumors, all pointing to Pattinson allegedly betraying Kristen Stewart with Roemer.
There’s absolutely no basis for a “hooking up” story angle, other than the assumption that it will stir controversy.
There are no pictures of any affection between Pattinson and Roemer.
There are no credible eyewitness accounts of Pattinson and Roemer pairing off at any point.
Buzz about the two stars getting cozy with each other has come entirely from blog commenters, and has not been corroborated by anyone at the venue.
Not a single source has verified to Gossip Cop that anything even bordering on romantic occurred between Pattinson and Roemer.
Pattinson made no attempt to hide his face out of supposed “guilt” or pretend like he and Roemer weren’t sharing a car, a standard tactic for a celebrity of his magnitude and experience.
If anything, it all sounds awfully similar to a litany of previous “nights out” that were trumped up by bored, reckless webloids – such as reports of Stewart having supposed rendezvouses with male pals like Tom Sturridge and Garrett Hedlund.
Those were based on nothing, and this Pattinson-Roemer meet-up is just as scandal-free.

Splash News has shared some on-set pictures that feature the actress playing Jane Volturi in the "Twilight Saga" series donning a gorgeous period costume while shooting a scene with Italian actor Riccardo Scamarcio in Venice, Italy.

Clad in an elegant black and white gown complete with a red cape and a tiara, Fanning was spotted walking side-by-side with Scamarcio on the street of Venice. At one point, the two were seen holding each others' hands and playfully dancing together.

On Wednesday, November 30, Fanning was also seen filming a scene with English actor Greg Wise in the city. That day, she was spotted wearing a classic floral and lace embellished dress that is paired with a navy blue velour cape and matching bonnet.

The ‘Breaking Dawn’ costume designer reveals how he got Rob ready in a custom-made, vintage-esque tuxedo for literally the wedding of the century!

We now know every little detail and stitch that went into preparing Bella (Kristen Stewart) and her custom-made Carolina Herrera gown for the Breaking Dawn wedding — but what about Edward (Robert Pattinson)? Breaking Dawn costume designer Michael Wilkinson was given the task of finding the perfect tux for the highly-anticipated wedding — and it certainly wasn’t off the rack!

Michael told MTV, “No off-the-rack! Never. I drew up my ideal ideas for all the tuxedos. We wanted them to have a vintage feel, that sort of Edwardian turn-of-the-century vibe. Edward says, “I’ve been waiting a hundred years to marry you,” so we thought Alice would have fun riffing off of that. But at the same time we didn’t want it to look theatrical, we wanted contemporary, young, and fresh. I drew up something that combined the lines of Edwardian formalwear and we made it up in beautiful contemporary Italian wools and gorgeous shirting materials. We had a fantastic collaboration with Brioni. I sent my drawings over to the incredible tailors at Brioni in Italy and they sent back these beautiful suits. That was a really fun.”

Breaking Dawn Part 2: Five Things to Look Forward To!

The good news is that "Breaking Dawn: Part 1" was a hit with Twi-hards and is still making waves in theaters and breaking box office records. The bad news is that "Breaking Dawn: Part 2" doesn't come out until November 2012.

Here are five things to look forward to in the next -- and last -- of the "Twilight" movies.

Bella as a Vampire

"Breaking Dawn: Part 1" ended with Bella opening her eyes after undergoing her vampire transformation - much like "Avatar" ended with Sam Worthington's character waking up in his new body. "Twilight" readers know that Bella immediately feels her new powers. Her senses are sharper, her mind is quicker, and her body is stronger. It will be interesting to see how the bigwigs - and actress Kristen Stewart - pull this off.

Taylor Lautner to Present 2012 Grammy Awards

Hollywood talent Taylor Lautner and Taraji P. Henson have joined the line up slated to help present 2012 Grammy Award nominations this week. Joining previously announced acts including LL Cool J and Rihanna, they were confirmed early Monday.

The one hour special will air Wednesday, Nov. 30 from the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE.

In addition to Lautner and Henson presenting, a Hip Hop tribute will also take place with performances from Common, two-time GRAMMY winner LL COOL J, GRAMMY winner Lupe Fiasco, and rap star Rick Ross along with Grandmaster Flash, GRAMMY-winning hip-hop artist Melle Mel, and rapper Scorpio.

The show, which will also announce nominations in several categories as well as feature performances by past GRAMMY winners and/or nominees, will be broadcast in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network (www.cbs.com) from 10 – 11 p.m. ET/PT.

(Reuters) - "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe on Tuesday topped a Heat Magazine list of the richest, young British entertainers, retaining his No. 1 position in the ranking of people under 30-years-old.

Robert Pattinson, lead actor of the rival fantasy film franchise "Twilight," moved up to third from fifth and leapfrogged two of Radcliffe's Potter co-stars, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, according to the celebrity magazine.

Actress Keira Knightley, who starred in several of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies, remained second on the chart, while singer Adele was the highest new entry at 16.

Radcliffe, 22, who played the boy wizard in the movie adaptations of J.K. Rowling's bestselling novels, earned 51.8 million pounds over his career, according to Heat estimates. The actor's earnings for 2011 were 6.1 million pounds higher than in 2010.

Knightley's earnings totaled 30.9 million pounds, ahead of Pattinson on 24.9 million, Watson on 23.9 million and Grint on 21.7 million.

Adele, whose second album "21" is set to be the biggest selling album in the world this year, entered the list at No. 16 with a fortune of 7.7 million pounds.

Three stars dropped out of this year's list -- opera star Katherine Jenkins and model Kelly Brook both exceeded the 30-year-old threshold and singer Amy Winehouse, ranked 15th last year, died in July.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 has passed the $500 million mark.
The film grossed $508 million in global ticket sales in only 12 days since the film’s release on November 18, 2011.

Summit Entertainment’s Co-Chairmen Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger stated: “We couldn’t be more pleased with the success of this film and a franchise that the fans have continued to support over the past several years. Thank you to all involved with the films from the actors, filmmakers and Stephenie Meyer to the most important group of all, the global fan base that continues to drive a desire for more Edward, Jacob and Bella.”
In a release sent to Gossip Cop, the studio says Breaking Dawn “also reached an additional milestone domestically, having generated $223 million and putting it in the top 12 films to reach $220 million in 10 days.”

Twilight is almost over. In the first part of the final film, Breaking Dawn part 1, Kristen Stewart's Bella marries vampire Edward, loses her virginity, gives birth to vampire-human hybrid, and turns into a vampire. Just thinking about it is exhausting. Kristen talks about shooting so many milestone, and how she is coping with the end of a series that she has spent the last five years with.

We've heard that you had a schizophrenic go of shooting both Breaking Dawns together. Virgin in the morning, pregnant bride in the afternoon, vampire at night. Can you talk about the trials and tribulations of shooting like that?

Shooting two movies at the same time, completely out of sequence, it wasn't something we were initially concerned about. I think what that gave me was... [Bella] is always looking into the future and thinking about what she is going to achieve and ultimately, in this movie, she does get everything she wants. Either that or she is feeling bad about Jacob or what her family thinks... she is very much in her own head. Basically what I'm saying is that being able to play a vampire, a human, a pregnant woman - sometimes literally on the same day or in the same week - actually helped remind me... everything felt more important and more relevant to me. Everything felt very close. I think if we had done it more systematically, it wouldn't have been the same. Everything was happening all at once. It was so overwhelming that it was good - it gave me that energy every day.

Bella is such a pop culture icon. How does she compare to playing Snow White?

I guess the only comparison that sticks out in my mind is that they both, in different ways, are matriarchs. Very, very strong matriarchs. I never grew up on fairytales. Everyone says to me, "This role is so cool because we all grew up with these fairytales." I'm like, "No, not really. I didn't." I also didn't grow up with the Twilight thing so for me, I'm just putting on these characters. I've gotten really lucky. I knew Snow White going in more than I knew Twilight.

You've managed to avoid being stereotyped into Twilight-type roles. How do you manage that? Is there a particular kind of project you are drawn to?

I've been really lucky that the movies I have done between Twilight films have been very different. Not because I meant them to be, but because the things I have been drawn to just happen to be different from Twilight. It's hard for me to answer questions like that. Right now is the first time I have not known what I was doing next. I don't want to rush it because I want time off and I want to figure out what I am interested in.

Are you drawn to lower-profile jobs to escape from the hysteria you encountered with theTwilight films?

No, not at all. That genuinely has nothing to do with it.

In the film, you appear to have lost a lot of weight between the honeymoon and the delivery. Was that real?

Digital. Totally digital. We didn't have time for me to do it. We would have had to shut down production for a few months while I lost the weight or gained it back.

It really looks like you genuinely were that sickly.

That's great. It was really [nerve-wracking] like, "I hope you guys can do a good job with this, because I can't." It can ruin you, if you look ridiculous, and I didn't. Those guys are amazing at what they do.

What was going through your mind as you walked down the aisle during the wedding scene?

I had a million different things going through my head, and I kept trying to tell myself "Stop, stop, stop. Just do it. Just have this experience." I thought I was going to ruin it. I think I was so in the right place to do it, I just needed to put on the dress and go and do it. The most common question you get as an actor is, "How do you remember all those lines?" If you know the story - really know it - the lines just come out. You know it. I just kept telling myself to find myself in this moment and appreciate it, otherwise I would look back and think, "Why didn't you just sit back and take that ride?"

If you were among the devoted "Twilight" fans who lined up to see "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" over the weekend, then you already know the film has a pretty dramatic conclusion. But MTV News has learned that the first of the two-part finale wasn't always intended to end where it does, even if it seems like the obvious choice.

When we caught up with screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and director Bill Condon shortly before "Part 1" hit theaters, the creative duo admitted to a lot of early discussions trying to decide the best place to split the final two movies. While Rosenberg and Condon felt that the current ending was the most "organic" place to pause before "Part 2," the studio wanted to make sure it was a spot in the story line that would best serve the entire series.

"We went back and forth a lot and, initially, this seemed like a very obvious place for the split, but then as the creative process went forth, myself, the studio and [author] Stephenie [Meyer], [producer] Wyck [Godfrey] and everybody debated it a lot," Rosenberg said. "I tried a couple different things but ultimately this was a natural, very organic place to split it."

Condon said he was always a defender of the existing split, even if many members of the creative team debated him on it.

His name is now synonymous with screaming fans, tousled hair and possibly sparkly skin, such that Robert Pattinson may find it difficult to escape the shadow of vampire Edward. But as we found out recently, he's largely at peace with the role these days and only slightly bemused at what the fans see in Edward. Here he is on becoming a vampire dad, behaving like a secret agent and going on guilt trips. Mild spoilers for those who haven't read the book...

Are you happy to say goodbye to Twilight? And what has its impact been on our culture?
I guess I’m happy to move on, but it was nice to have good closure. I found Edward quite a restrictive character but in Breaking Dawn he kind of loosens up about everything. I mean, it’s almost impossible not to when you’re delivering babies and, you know, Bella is dying and all this stuff is happening. You can’t play it the same, and that was nice. It was nice to have arguments and things as Edward, which seemed very unusual. But um, what’s its contribution to the culture? Well one of the main things, which obviously the books did but the movies helped, was just getting young people reading again. Harry Potter started this thing, but anything which gets kids reading, it helps. As soon as you start reading one series then you start reading a bunch of other stuff. Just in terms of the film industry as well, I think Twilight showed that you can have a female audience for something and it does well.

You become a father in this film. Did you discover any paternal instincts? Do you get on well with kids.
Only some kids! If it’s an annoying kid, I don’t get on with them. But I like babies, I like doing the scenes with babies. There were quite a lot of them as well, so that was fun. It’s just so different from a Twilight movie, because the main problem with stage the scenes is, because we are all vampires we don’t do anything, you don’t fidget, you don’t put your hands in your pockets, you never do anything! You have nothing to do all day, so it’s very difficult to think, “How do I do this scene without just standing here?” And as soon as you have a baby involved, you have to respond. Everyone suddenly just breaks all of their standards.

Did you ask for advice of how to act like a dad?
With a baby I think it’s pretty instinctive. I mean, everybody looks freaked out, especially guys. And all woman immediately are like “Ooo, we know exactly what to do” and guys think they are going to break it all the time.

Did it make you feel more grown up?
Yeah, definitely! Having the wedding ring on and having like a baby, you’re like, “Jesus Christ! 40 already!”

Did you goof up on set?
I’m almost certain I did. There is a bunch of ridiculous stuff: in any kind of fantasy movie you end up looking ridiculous so much of the time, especially doing fight scenes when you’re not actually doing a fight scene, because it is PG-13 and because they don’t have like fights, they are all trying to pull each others heads off!

Is there something you did like about Edward?
I thought he was great. The annoying thing about him is that that the fans’ perception of him is that he’s this perfect guy, but whenever I read the books, he doesn’t seem like the perfect guy at all. I wanted to play his flaws, but then you have this subliminal idea coming from everywhere saying: “No, he’s got to be perfect!” but you can’t play perfect! Perfect is someone with loads of flaws, and then you stuck in this funny little loop. But it was interesting playing this one because I really didn’t like a lot of Edward’s actions in Breaking Dawn, and it’s nice to play actions where you think: “Oh, he’s doing the wrong thing.”

Can you give an example of that?
I mean, he is just very selfish at the end and gets ruled by his emotions. His heart is running him instead of his head, which is the opposite of all the other movies. He’s always trying to plan ahead, but he becomes much more impulsive and doesn’t feel permanently guilty. He feels like he has been wronged when he hasn’t been wronged at all.

What part of you is like Edward and what part of you is most unlike Edward?
I always feel guilty about everything; that’s quite similar to Edward. And, I don’t know, he always thinks he’s doing the right thing, he always thinks he knows what is going on and I never feel like I know what is going on or doing the right thing!

Because Edward is so serious, we don’t see him laugh or smile a lot. What roles does Hollywood offer you now? Would you like to do comedy?
I guess your offers are really only dependent on what people perceive your audience to be. It doesn’t really matter who you are. People assume, “Oh, he will bring in teenage girls!”. Even though the majority of the audience for Twilight is older, people have the perception that it is young girls because they are the ones who turn up to the premieres and stuff. But I don’t know, people just assume you can bring women in so that they give you roles where he’s the romantic hero, which I don’t think I can do particularly. I didn’t think I could do before Twilight, and I still don’t really see myself that way.

Would you like to be in more of an action movie?
It’s strange, there’s sort of a mentality where it seems like every single actor eventually does a big hit movie and then they are in an army movie afterwards. It’s just the obvious choice. I think it is something to do with playing sports: if you play sports in school and you’re a guy and you become an actor, those are the films you do. I hated playing team sports, so the idea of hanging around only with only a bunch of guys for three months, it’s just like…no!

Are you still playing music?
Yeah I still write a lot. I would love to be able to do gigs again, but it just seems weird, I don’t know. The best thing about playing music live is that you go in and people are sitting there waiting for something to to happen, whereas now I walk into a room and most people are either expecting something or they want to shit on it. As soon as you walk in you can feel the energy, so it kind of affects the performance, it doesn’t make it so enjoyable.

The wedding dress worn by Kristen Stewart‘s Bella Swan character in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 will be for sale at designer Carolina Herrera‘s CHNY boutiques, it was announced on Monday.
The long-sleeved white sheath wedding dress, embellished with lace backing, was specially designed for Stewart.
Herrera, who said she was “flattered” to be asked to come up with the much-anticipated gown, said on the red carpet last week, “I wanted to create a magical moment that they had at the wedding.”
Right now it has not been revealed how many gowns will be created, or for how much they will be sold.
Already the bridal dress company Alfred Angelo is selling official replicas (right) for $799.

U.K. and Irish distributor Entertainment One has announced that the fourth and penultimate film in The Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn - Part I broke records this weekend as it recorded the biggest ever opening for an American film in the U.K. grossing £13.9 million ($21.7 million).

Breaking Dawn Part I also set the record with £6.35 million ($9.93 million) as the biggest non-3D opening Friday figure of all time, eclipsing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, which grossed £5.9 million ($9.2 million). Including 3D films, this Friday figure has charted as the 2nd highest ever.

Robert Pattinson: 'The craziness won't last forever'

He’s won an army of devotees playing a sexy vampire in The Twilight Saga, but as the penultimate movie is released, actor Robert Pattinson is already dreaming of an end to the “craziness” that comes with fame, writes SHEREEN LOW

Three years ago Robert Pattinson was a little-known actor with a small part in two Harry Potter films and a handful of TV roles behind him.

Fast forward to 2011 and the British actor – known as "R-Patz" to his devotees – can't even step out of his front door without feeling paranoid about being accosted and stalked by fans.

"A lot of the time you think people are way crazier than they are. You think they've been waiting for five hours when they've only been there for five minutes.

"I was in London once and no one found out where I was staying the whole time I was there, and then this girl, waiting in the courtyard of the hotel in complete pitch blackness, called out my name – and I thought, 'This is it. I'm going to get killed'," he says, grinning at the memory.

"The thing that drives me crazy is if people follow you when you leave the building. As soon as I lose those people, I'm fine."

The reason for all this fear? The film juggernaut that is The Twilight Saga, a spellbinding love triangle between vampire Edward Cullen, Bella Swan and werewolf Jacob Black.

Based on Stephanie Meyers' best-selling books, the three films, with the eagerly anticipated fourth instalment Breaking Dawn Part 1 about to hit screens, have propelled the lead cast members – Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner – to global stardom.

Running his fingers through his tousled hair, 25-year-old Pattinson says: "I just have to remember that it is all a job and that the craziness, as overwhelming as it seems sometimes, won't last forever."

It's little surprise that Pattinson, with his finely chiselled features and lean stature, has become such a heart- throb.

Yet fame has not gone to his head. The London-born actor, who now splits his time between the UK and the US, takes his new life in his stride.

"I guess my actual life hasn't changed that much – it's busier. The only time I found it really difficult to cope was when I tried to go to the same places I went to before, and live exactly the same life, and it's impossible," he admits.

"But life changes and you have to adapt to that. You can either let yourself go completely insane or just deal with it. My family and friends haven't been any different the entire time. It's lucky that I didn't do too much beforehand."

Shot back-to-back, the first of the final two Twilight films, with the second part to be released next November, sees Bella and Edward taking their relationship to the next level.

"Breaking Dawn begins with preparations for Bella and Edward's wedding and the chaos that ensues on their honeymoon, and the inevitable downfall that always happens in Twilight movies," says Pattinson.

"The wedding scene is a relatively momentous moment for the series. I think Edward's proposed to her about 50 times now, so it's been building up and building up.

"Edward's excited. He's always been obsessed about marriage. It's what he has wanted for a long time. I think it's one of the first points of stability in their relationship."

Their honeymoon on a beautiful island in Brazil "starts off quite nice and just gets progressively worse", reveals Pattinson.

"It just goes downhill after they have sex. Edward gets to relax – but only for a second. It's like a set-up so he can get punished again for the rest of the movie consistently."

Shooting the love scenes with Stewart, widely believed to be Pattinson's girlfriend, brought some pressure because of fans' expectations for the previously celibate on-screen couple.

Sighing, he says: "It's more an abstract idea of living up to expectations because you don't know what the expectations are. Especially with the honeymoon stuff, it's just in people's imaginations.

"You never really think about the reality of what people's expectations are, you just try and make it good. And if you like it, then hopefully other people will like it."

Trying to measure up to co-star Lautner, who has no qualms about appearing shirtless, required some dedication from Pattinson, who reportedly worked out for six months to get a six-pack.

When Bella unexpectedly falls pregnant with their half-human/half-vampire baby, their marriage suffers "a lot of strain" as Edward feels the baby is a death sentence for Bella, while she considers it a miracle.

But when Edward realises there's no changing Bella's mind about the child, he becomes more supportive.

To sustain the baby and herself through pregnancy, Bella has to drink blood which she then reacts to and throws up again. Pattinson says he "loved" doing the gruesome birth scene.

"It could have been an R-rated sequence – or a really ridiculous comedy sequence," he says, laughing.

"We kind of shot it as an adult horror and then edited out the really gruesome bits.

"It looked like a Saw movie, not a Twilight movie."

He adds: "There's literally been no blood in the films, except for single drops here and there. I walked in and Kristen was covered in fake blood and gore."

In between shooting the Twilight films, Pattinson has kept himself busy. He played Salvador Dali in Little Ashes, starred in tear-jerker Remember Me and romantic drama Water For Elephants.

Yet stepping back into Edward's shoes was easy. "You do feel Edward's back as soon as you go into make-up, for one thing, it's quite limiting. All of the limitations of the make-up, wardrobe and even the contact lenses, they all play into the character," he says.

Prior to Twilight, Pattinson's biggest role was as Hogwarts champion Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, where he played second fiddle to the film's main stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.

With the end of the Twilight franchise in sight, Pattinson has upcoming roles in David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis and period piece Bel Ami.

"I like working all the time," he says. "I spent so many years before Twilight just working for two to three months and then doing nothing, or these tiny jobs, for the rest of the year.

"That's the hardest thing to deal with. You're like, 'Ok, I'll just go get drunk again'."

“Most actors encourage the attention because they think it will make them have a more lasting career, but I don’t think that’s the case,” he says. “The more of yourself you reveal, the less interesting people find you. Mystery lasts a lot longer.”

Box Office Forecast - Breaking Dawn Part 1 Targets Series Records

Nearly 17 months after Eclipse became the Twilight series' highest-grossing movie, part one of the two-part series conclusion reaches theaters all over the world and it should be in line for one of the highest openings ever. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 opens at 4,061 theaters, which is up from New Moon's 4,024 locations but way off from Eclipse's record-setting 4,468 venues. Meanwhile, Happy Feet Two debuts at 3,606 locations where it will attempt to woo families with children who are a bit too young for Twilight's steamy teen romance. With two major sequels and a handful of solid holdovers, this weekend should easily top the same frame last year when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 opened to $125 million.

While on the topic of Harry Potter, it is worth briefly mentioning that the comparisons that are often drawn between the boy wizard series and Twilight actually serve to downplay Twilight's accomplishments a bit. The Potter series declined from its first to third entries, while Twilight has actually earned more with each new movie. The last entry, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, made $300.5 million domestically, which is more than five out of the eight Potter movies. Considering how many more copies were sold of the Harry Potter books (Deathly Hallows's initial run was 12 million books, while Breaking Dawn's was only for 3.7 million), Twilight is in many ways a more impressive movie phenomenon in the U.S.

Twihards may cringe at the thought, but could Edward and Bella be headed for divorce if "Twilight" author Stephanie Meyer continues with the series?
At the premiere of "Breaking Dawn: Part 1" Friday, Robert Pattinson joked that a vampire split was inevitable. "That's what's going to happen," he told E! Online's Marc Malkin. "That's the only option."
Kristen Stewart, on the other hand, didn't want to think about the possibility of divorce. "I can't really answer that question. It's too sad," she said.
That got us thinking, are there chinks in the armor of Edward and Bella's onscreen relationship?
